Anchored at the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) since 2019, Listos California has succeeded in reaching millions of Californians to provide lifesaving emergency preparedness information.
Listos California understands that disasters can be stressful for everyone. By breaking down preparedness tips in multiple languages for our communities we ensure they have the resources they need.
TRAININGS
In addition to preparedness education, Listos California is focused on building long term resilience. Through a variety of trainings, we bring together leaders of all kinds to support California’s emergency response system and strengthen community resilience by building capacity at all levels.
EDUCATIONAL GAMES
Listos California has developed first-of-its-kind, human-centered games designed to make emergency preparedness and response as unique as the communities it serves. These simulation games help participants “step in to the shoes” of other and bring thoughtful dialogue to ways we can improve emergency response. We encourage you to play this game with friends, family, neighbors, and colleagues as a fun way to unlock the importance of preparedness.
