The California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) recently announced the availability of more than $15 million in local resilience grants through the Listos California program. Listos California aims to ensure California’s diverse communities are better prepared for and able to respond to and recover from disasters through peer-to-peer public education and outreach activities. The grants prioritize communities that are both socially vulnerable and at high risk of being impacted by a fire, flood, earthquake, drought, or extreme heat.

Cal OES hosted a general overview briefing of the Listos California program and the new grant opportunities, as well as specific trainings on the application process for each of the grant types that are available.  Application information, the briefing, and all the trainings can be viewed below.

Any questions about the Listos California grant opportunities should be directed to ListosGrants@caloes.ca.gov.
