Creating Connections

This year, the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services  (Cal OES) and the Office of Community Partnerships and Strategic Communications (OCPSC) are partnering to host a first-of-its-kind joint convening, Rooted. Resilient. Ready. 2024 Statewide Community Partner Convening.

Both agencies have important outreach and education campaigns that aim to reach those experiencing the greatest health and social inequities, with culturally competent and actionable information, and meeting people where they are.

This convening brings together trusted messengers from across the state to share success stories, deepen our connections and access emerging resources. Cal OES, through Listos California and OCPSC also see this three day program as an opportunity to gather critical feedback from communities to incorporate into campaign design and strategy for the year to come. We know we can build a more resilient California through our partnership to build intentional and inclusive outreach and education.
